چکیده

Recently, many efforts and much attention has been paid to developing environmentally friendly energy. Solid oxide electrolyte cells (SOECs) process in reverse solid fuel (SOFCs) producing hydrogen gas as a green energy source. However, this application, high-performance catalysts are usually required overcome the sluggish oxygen evolution reactions (OER) during water decomposition. For reason, discovery of with high performance is crucial issue for wide application SOECs. Owning their inherent activity adequate stability electrochemical conditions, perovskite oxides have intensively employed In mini review, we summarize currently available studies concerning applications cobalt-based Particularly, structural properties corresponding electronic structures discussed based on performance, both experimentally theoretically.

La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3 perovskite cathode for Intermediate Temperature Solid Oxide Fuel Cells: A comparative study

In this study the characteristics of two different kinds of La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3 (LSCF) powders, one in-house synthesized powder by a co-precipitation method and another one purchased from Fuel Cell Materials Co. (FCM Co., USA), were compared. The co-precipitated powder was prepared by using ammonium carbonate as precipitant with a NH4+/NO3- molar ratio of 2 and calcination at 1000C for 1 h....

Chromium deposition and poisoning of La(0.8)Sr(0.2)MnO3 oxygen electrodes of solid oxide electrolysis cells.

The effect of the presence of an Fe-Cr alloy metallic interconnect on the performance and stability of La(0.8)Sr(0.2)MnO3 (LSM) oxygen electrodes is studied for the first time under solid oxide electrolysis cell (SOEC) operating conditions at 800 °C. The presence of the Fe-Cr interconnect accelerates the degradation and delamination processes of the LSM oxygen electrodes. The disintegration of ...

A GdAlO3 Perovskite Oxide Electrolyte-Based NOx Solid-State Sensor

NOx is a notorious emission from motor vehicles and chemical factories as the precursor of acid rain and photochemical smog. Although zirconia-based NOx sensors have been developed and showed high sensitivity and selectivity at a high temperature of above 800 °C, they fail to show good performance, and even don't work at the typical work temperature window of the automotive engine (<500 °C). It...
